Share the company vision, include the staff in the development of business plans, new initiatives and direction of the organisation. Provide clear, concise business goals and objectives, determine how these relate to the personal goals of your staff. Set realistic performance measures.
2. Develop Solid Systems, Structures and Resources
Ensure that there are adequate systems, structures and resources for people to be able to perform at their best. Where there are no rules, guidelines, systems and structures people will make up their own!
3. Provide Ongoing Training, Support and Encouragement
Be concise on business policies and methods of performing work. Provide the training, support and encouragement that people need in order to be successful in their positions. Focus development on values and beliefs to reach optimum performance.
